Do you have a disability which has stopped you getting into the city centre? Then Shopmobility could be just what you need.
How to use Shopmobility
You should book the equipment beforehand to make sure you get the equipment you want, especially at busy times.
On your first visit, you will need to bring identification such as a water, gas, electricity bill or a driving licence, so you can register with our scheme.
If you are using a motorised chair or scooter, a member of staff will show you how it works and once you feel confident and safe you can take the equipment into the city centre.
You then return the equipment to us at the end of your
visit. This service is free but we welcome your donations.
Shopmobility is open from Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm.
